Green Glades

Green Glades includes 2 nights stay at Farmagudi Hill Retreat or Old Goa Heritage View with third night stay complimentary at Margao Residency, or on couple basis, inclusive of breakfast and lunch or dinner with one half day, one full day sightseeing and an evening boat cruise on River Mondovi.

DayI: check in at Farmagudi Hill Retreat or Old Goa Heritage View by 12.00 noon. After having lunch at the hotel, leave for an evening full of entertainment on board M.V. Santa Monica cruising along the Mondovi river with a lively cultural programme, full of live music, song and dance . En route, see world heritage monuments at Old Goa like the Basilica of Bom Jesus which holds the mortal remains of St Francis Xavier which are enshrined in a silver casket, and the se cathedral dedicated to St Augustine of Alexandria, which has 15 altars and houses the famous Golden bell. Pass by Miramar Beach and visit Dona Paula Bay. The view from Dona Paula with the entire sweep of the Arabian Sea and Mormugao Port is Spectacular.

DayII: After breakfast at the hotel, depart at 9.15 a.m to visit an exotic tropical spice plantation to get an inside look of a fascinating world of spices, fruit, exotic trees and medicinal herbs. After guided walk through the plantation enjoy an authentic Goan lunch at the spice garden itself. After lunch, visit the Bondla wildlife Sanctuary and see a number of wild animals like wild boars, bison, panthers, snakes etc . Observe beautiful birds like the ruby throated yellow bulbul which is the state bird, kingfishers and others. Also enjoy elephant rides. Later drive deep down Goas hinterland to visit Shree Mahadev temple at Tambdi surla, the only living monument of Kadamba Yadava architecture in Goa, dating back to the 13th century constructed entirely of basalt stone, strong, sturdy and reeking of history.

DayIII: After breakfast at the hotel, check-out from farmagudi hill Retreat or Old Goa Heritage view by 12.00 noon.Drive to Margao, the commercial capital of Goa, Check-in at Margao residency and have a complimentary stay on your own.you can see Margao city with its imposing Old Goan mansions or go on your own to the nearby colva Beach which is 10 Kms away.

DayIV: After breakfast, have the morning free to yourself.Pick up and drop to the airport/railway station/bus stand at 12.00 noon.
