History: The original chapel, filial to the Mission of Sivansor, (N. Kanara) was built in 1807. It was raised to the rank of a parish church on 3.4.1824. The church was repaired in 1878.

Architectural notes:

• Modern structure, medium size
• Vertical banding on façade
• Porch with corrugated sheet roof
• Bell frames flank central façade wall
