History: Erected in remote times, the Chapel of Cunchelim had a new provision of erection on 20.12.1847. The chapel was filial to the Parish of Mapusa from which it was separated and made a new parish in 1977.

Architectural notes:

• Simple structure with Neo-Roman elements, small size
• Rococo style curves in frontispiece
• Simple cone finials
• Bell housed at centre of gable
• Concrete porch with balustrade of grilles
