History: The Church of Velsao was built in 1634 and erected into a parochial church by the dispatch dated 28.5.1635. The Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady is celebrated over three days.

• Large size, 4 bays x 3 storeys
• Pozzoan pediment at gable apex
• Mounding for window tops
• Consoles for cornices
• Finials of urn type
• Single bell turret with balusters
• Porch with corrugated sheet roof
