| This temple
with pyramid tiled roofs and round domes is dedicated to Shiva
and was constructed in the 18th century. It is situated in the
village of Bandora, about 4 km to the east of Ponda. A gallery
in the Sabhamandap exhibits exquisite and intricate wood carvings
depicting scenes from the Ramayana along with images of Astasikpal
and Gandharava.
The lamp tower has only five storeys but the lower storey has
elaborate bas-reliefs. The temple reflects beautifully in the
water tank which is located in front of the temple.
