Dwarka Beach Resort sits on Cola Beach in Canacona, South Goa — reached by a drive down a jungle path to a spot where a freshwater lagoon meets the Arabian Sea. It's one of the few places in Goa where you can genuinely say "hidden gem" without exaggerating; there's no beach-shack strip here, just ten thatched cottages set among coconut groves at different levels, each with a sea view and many overlooking the lagoon itself.

Every stay is built around full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, served at a raised, open-air restaurant and bar at the head of the lagoon, using local Indian flavours, organic produce and locally caught fish. Lagoon kayaking is included too, alongside swimming in the lagoon or ocean (especially good at high tide), nature trails and birdwatching, with sunset cocktails and candlelit beach dinners available on request.

Cottages are air-conditioned with handcrafted decor and a private balcony for watching the sunset over the Arabian Sea — reservations default to one cottage for two adults, with children aged 4 to 12 addable to a booking.
