The Meems’ Arabian Sea Beach Resort is the co-creation of Rashid & wife, Maila. They’ve combined his legendary-Kashmiri hospitality, with her feisty-Canadian, “je ne sais quoi”. The result is a relaxing, thoroughly unpretentious, rustic beach-paradise, with a cut-above ambience and exceptional service thanks to the motley crew who make up, what is affectionately known as, "The Meems’ Team".
They are located smack-dab on the loveliest stretch of north Goan coastline, called Ashwem Beach.There the sea is gentle, yet playful, never too crowded.There you can enjoy both direct road & beach access, yet, still retain a serene, safe & secluded, haven-like atmosphere.

Accomodation at the meems Arabian Sea Beach ResortThey have integrated their 30 huts into this divine beach-side landscape using local materials: bamboo, brick, volcanic stone, woven coco-palm leaves with either grass or clay tiled roofs. All huts are well-appointed, all having en-suite bathrooms, with solar-heated showers, and verandas. Everyone falls asleep and wakes up to the sound of the Arabian Sea, while some of their huts even have direct sea-views. All the rooms are clean, spacious & airy with a comforting attention to detail, such as bedside lamps for reading, extra pillows, proper electrical outlets, ceiling fans, mosquito nets… The décor is simple & rustic, with an accent on cozy efficiency. Some are ideal for single guests and others perfect for couples. They also have a few huts large enough for family groups.
Dinning at the meems Arabian Sea Beach ResortThe Meems’ kitchen is the hearth of our home-style establishment.The restaurant has seating for over a 100 people. Whether you like to sit ‘at table’, under the shade of coco-palms and parachutes, or, up on our exotic, Kashmiri-style lounge-platform, where you rinse your feet before settling in. Both seating-areas are right on the beach, meaning our guests get t’enjoy everything, from food & drink to music & folk, plus, the exceptional view & panoramic sound of the Arabian Sea.
