History: Originally the Sirsaim Chapel was filial to the Church of Tivim, It was built in 1855 by the Communidade of Sirsaim and its façade was rebuilt in 1872. The Chapel was erected to Parish Church in 1977.
Architectural notes:
• Mannerist Neo-Roman style
• Large size, 5 bays x 3 storeys
• Rococo style curves in frontispiece
• Balustrade supported by consoles for upper two storeys
• Finials of bulb and cone types
• Twin bell towers with balusters
