Nossa Senhora do Bom Sucesso Church Elevated: 1972    Feast: 2nd Sunday of December History: At first there was a chapel built at Nagoa in 1755 and it was originally dedicated to Our Lady of Succour. It was affiliated to the Church of Verna. Nagoa was elevated to a separate parish in 1972. Architectural notes: • Mannerist Neo-Roman style • Medium size, 4 bays x 3 storeys • Frontispiece has modified Pozzoan pediment at apex • Finials of urn and spear types • Twin bell towers with crosses at apex • Porch on round columns |
